Myspace e-mails working again.
The solution came to me earlier this week. I simply changed my login email from gmail, to MSU, and back to gmail. very simple, took 2 mins.
But to test it, since I am not a whore, I waited to see if they came. And sure enough, today I got one.
So for those random visitors who commented on the entry before about myspace, this is my answer. Change your email, and then change it back.

You said there was a number we can call at “myspace”? What is it? I can’t recieve ANY email frorm them including the initial “verify your email address”! I can’t even cancel the God Damned thing because that requires an email verification as well! WTF!
By the way, changing emails didn’t work for me.

I can recieve emails all day & night along with comments!! The problem is I cannot send messages or approve comments!!! Like you guys I’ve emailed the customer service at myspace and haven’t heard shit from them yet!!!!!!!! Does anyone know how to fix this, if so Please let me know!!!

OKay. i changed my password to my myspaca account, and then i like forgot it 2 minutes after, and ive send about 25 of those “forgot your password” shit things and they wont send it to my email. and even if i message like Tom or customer service, its not like they do shit or anything.

Here’s one i bet you guys haven’t heard!! I recently got a message when i logged on to my myspace that my account had been phished. and to change my password. So i did. The next day I cant log in at all and myspace is not even recognizing my email as a valid email belonging to any account. No email was sent to me for email change verification or anything. But the page is still visible and active. for some reason my login email address was deleted from the myspace system, so now i cant login at all.

OMFG! I came across this while searching for some way to contact sentient beings at myspace. Their page is in a loop for me… i couldn’t even log in to change my email if i wanted to because apparently, i have to be logged in to log in. yea. their page is in a loop for me telling me 1) “you have to be logged in to do that!” and then 2) “you have to be logged in to do that! Too many failed attempts for this address, pelase type this stupid fucking code for the thousandth time, mmmk?” Yea… still no email responses and all i want to do is log in with the password they sent me to approve some peeps to my group. So… I’ll try the privacy address. thanks.

i’m gonna keep trying,
but i deleted my old music page, which was fully operational, because when i uploaded my own damn music it said i broke the copyright laws. bullshit! anyways, i ‘ve made a new one, but the box that says, “verify your email address” doesn’t even work. it brings me to a blank page. i figured out a way, by trying to message tom, to get a verification email to my email account, but inside that email, the link to verify does the same thing! it loads fully to nothing but a blank page. the customer service is either oblivious to this problem or is way to overwhelmed to do anything. i’ve tried switching emails and everything. there seems to be a myspace server problem, where the link for people to verify their emails isn’t working. i wish there was a myspace hotline, so i could talk one on one to someone!

I have been having similar problems with myspace lately. Last Wednesday night, it said that someone tried to phish my account so it said change the password immediately. In trying to change the password, I got locked out of my account or something. Everytime I try to have my password sent to me, it doesn’t work. I have tried calling 310-969-7400, extension 7, but I can never get a human. I will keep all of you posted.

I fucking HATE myspace right now… they are making so much money you would think they could employ an actual person or two. but anywhos, my problem is that i havent used the hotmail account that my mysapce profile was sighned up under in so long that my hotmail got erased and now i cant sighn onto my mysapce… im really effing annoyed at the auto-emils i am getting from these sons of bitches but cant get an actual person to help me either,even just to erase the account…. any sugestions?

I got locked out of my account over 3 months ago because I changed the password; like most people do from time to time and then I forgot what I changed it to, so I logged in too many times and I was locked out….I have emailed them through customer service over 20 times. Some were nice some were not! I have never in my life dealt with something so rediculous! ALL I NEED is my freakin password reset and sent to my email. And I do that like it says and I get nothing….it doesn’t send me anything to my email. And when i get their emails back they are those dumb ass responsed that I have already done 50 times and don’t work. I did the whole “salute” thing; which is bullshit! What type of service makes you take your freakin picture with a sign up!??!??!!! But i did it!!!!!! Only cuz i have pics of my daughter and i on there that i just don’t want out there in LIMBO. I can’t delete my account cuz i cant’ freakin log in!!!!!!!! I finally googled it to see if there was a # or something, and i came across this….along with with thousands of other complaints!!! I was so shocked to see that there are so many others like myself ready to scream!!!!!!! What do we do???? I’m so over this!!!!!

What do you expect? Myspace and Facebook are free. Maybe if they charged for membership you would be able to get through to customer service and make changes, but free is free.

MySpace is a pissoff. I took the time to register for an account and I tried clicking their fucking verfication link but I get to their damn home page, and I try to log in, but it just refreshes the home page. Did this happen to anybody else? I am so pissed right now.
